Dearest fellow Vikingites,
I am so sorry that I will not be able to make it to the reunion. My wife and I are both still poor starving graduate students and we just can't afford a trip across the country. I will miss seeing all of you.
My wife, Robyn, and I currently live in Boston, MA. We met at the University of Utah. We got married in December 2004 during my last year at the U of U. In 2005 I graduated with a double major in history and political science. That same summer we moved here to Boston so Robyn could start a graduate program in pharmacy at Northeastern University. She is currently finishing her last year of that program and will graduate next spring. I am starting my third year in a PhD program at Boston University. I am studying U.S. history, focusing on Twentieth Century U.S. foreign policy and international relations. I hope to teach at a university after I finish my degree, which should be in the next two or three years.
We really enjoy living in Boston. The Fourth of July celebration here is amazing, and it gets pretty wild when the Red Sox win the World Series and when the Celtics win the NBA championship. We have made a lot of very good friends here. My one complaint about Boston is that they don't have a lot of good Mexican food. So to compensate I have taken to making my own burritos and quesadillas, which I eat at least one of every day. Fortunately I have an amazing wife who is also an excellent cook and she makes sure I eat something other than a burrito for every meal.
I hope you are all doing well too.
Sincerely,
Chris Seely

CHRIS!!! I have missed seeing your smiley face around :) You look so happy and it is so good to see you again. I laugh at the memories of so many funny, good times with you. I am really sad that you're not coming to the reunion but I hope that we'll get to see you another time. Take care :) --Kierstin Spjut Laws
Hey there Chris,
I laugh when I think about the times be had in adv drama, what a fun and hyper time that was. You do look so happy and it sounds like you are on a fun road to a really interesting career. It's fun to see what people do with themselves after high school. Too bad you can't make it, it would be fun to see you again.

A phD? I didn't know you were so smart! If I would have known that I would have copied off of your papers even more than I did. Way to go.

I know how you loved your Mexican food. It seems like yesterday that we were at the U and you ate 12 inches of burrito with 12 packets of "Del Scorcho" without taking a drink.
Hey Chris,
I hope you still root for the Jazz? If not, I'm over it.
